Abstract :

A list of vascular plant species collected in the Ulu Kinchin area of south Pahang and not recorded in the recent literature is given. The epiphytic orchid Cordiglottis fulgens (Ridl.) Garay is recorded from the wild for the first time. The list includes 13 species newly recorded within the boundary of the proposed Endau-Rompin National (State) Park, a further two of which (Aeschynanthus speciosus Hook., Gesneriaceae, and Scaphochlamys erecta Holttum, Zingiberaceae) are additions to the flora of Pahang.
