This study examines the historical development of Pahang's weaving industry and the influence of the Royal Institution. With a 300-year history, this industry is vital to Malay cultural identity. Utilizing qualitative methods, the research highlights the pivotal roles of HRHTengku Ampuan Meriam and HRH Tengku Puan PahangTunku Hajah Azizah in the industry's revival and growth. The conferment of the "Diraja" title in 2006 reinforced its culturalsignificance. This research underscores the enduring importance of Tenun Pahang Diraja(TPD)in Pahang's cultural and economic landscape.
